Colleen Josephson is a Senior Research Scientist at VMware, and a vice chair of the GreenG Working Group within the ATIS NextG Alliance, which aims to position North America as the global leader in sustainable next-generation mobile networks. Her research interests include wireless communication and sensing systems, with a focus on technologies to enable and improve sustainable practices.

Joe Madden founded Mobile Experts and serves as the lead analyst. Over the past 30 years, Mr. Madden has accurately predicted Virtual RAN, Digital Predistortion, Remote Radio Heads, Small Cells, 5G Fixed Wireless, and the true size of the IoT market. He has worked as an RF engineer and managed product lines in mobile infrastructure and in handset components. He has parachuted in as an interim CEO, and returned a dying company to profits.

John Smee is Senior VP of Engineering and Global Head of Wireless Research at Qualcomm. He oversees all 5G/6G and Wi-Fi R&D projects including systems design, standards contributions, and advanced radio, hardware, and software research testbeds and technology trials with industry partners. He joined Qualcomm in 2000, holds over 175 U.S. Patents, and has focused on the innovation and commercial launches of wireless communications across 5G NR, 4G LTE, 3G CDMA, and IEEE 802.11.

Kimberley Trommler studied mathematics and computer science at the University of Waterloo, Canada, and completed her Master of Mathematics in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence and Computational Linguistics) in 1997.

Marie-Paule Odini is Distinguished Technologist in HPE Telecom organization focusing on 5G, AI, OSS and Sustainability. She is also Chair of North America 6G ‘Next G Alliance’ Green G working group, and active in many other standards & industry forums including ETSI, GSMA, TMForum, NGMN and IEEE. She holds a Master Degree in EE from Utah State University and teaches Telecom at the University Savoie Mont-Blanc.

Mikael Höök joined Ericsson in 1994 and has held various positions targeting the research and standardization of 2G, 3G, 4G and now 5G. He is currently Research Area Director for Radio-research within Ericsson Research and based in Kista, Stockholm. The responsibility covers research on air-interface design, advanced signal processing, multi-antenna systems, radio network performance and propagation.

Dr. Onur Altintas is the InfoTech Labs Fellow at InfoTech Labs, Toyota North America R&D, in Mountain View, California. He has been with the Toyota Group since 1999 in various roles in New Jersey, Tokyo and California. He has been the co-founder and general co-chair of the IEEE Vehicular Networking Conference (IEEE VNC) since 2009.

Dr. Ralf Bendlin is a Principal Member of Technical Staff at AT&T Labs in Austin, Texas. Before joining AT&T, he was a Senior Wireless Systems Architect with Intel Corporation and a Systems Engineer with Texas Instruments Inc.

Sundeep Rangan received the B.A.Sc. at the University of Waterloo, Canada and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. at the University of California, Berkeley, all in Electrical Engineering. He has held postdoctoral appointments at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and Bell Labs. In 2000, he co-founded (with four others) Flarion Technologies, a spin off of Bell Labs, that developed Flash OFDM, one of the first cellular OFDM data systems and pre-cursor to 4G systems including LTE and WiMAX.

Theodore S. Rappaport is the David Lee/Ernst Weber Professor at New York University (NYU) and holds faculty appointments in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, the Courant Computer Science Department, and the NYU Langone School of Medicine. He founded NYU WIRELESS, a multidisciplinary research center, and the wireless research centers at the University of Texas Austin (WNCG) and Virginia Tech (MPRG).

Tom Wheeler is a businessman, author, and was Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) from 2013 to 2017. Presently, he is a Visiting Fellow at the Brookings Institution, and a Senior Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School.
